The Europa-Union Luxemburg was present with a four-member delegation and, as the foreign association of the EUD, provided two delegate votes. Stefan Kohler also took an active part in the debate on the motion. We are pleased that the JEF's urgent motion, which is directed against the border controls recently introduced by the German government, was passed almost unanimously, because open borders in the Schengen area are very important to us, especially as Luxembourgers.
