Christmas party 2024 - very traditional at Hotel Sieweburen

March for open borders

The Europa-Union Luxemburg demonstrated together with representatives of the JEF and Pulse of Europe at the “March for open Borders” in the border triangle. A total of over 200 people took part in the protest march, which led from Apach via Perl to Schengen. » read more

Europa-Union Federal Congress in Stuttgart

The Europa-Union Luxemburg was present with a four-member delegation and, as the foreign association of the EUD, provided two delegate votes. Stefan Kohler also took an active part in the debate on the motion. We are pleased that the JEF's urgent motion, which is directed against the border controls recently introduced by the German government, was passed almost unanimously, because open borders in the Schengen area are very important to us, especially as Luxembourgers. » read more

Visitors from Bavaria

We were very pleased to welcome a nice visit from Bavaria by members of the district of Upper Bavaria (Europa-Union Oberbayern e. V. and Europa Union Kreisverband Mühldorf) in Luxembourg, who were on an excursion to Luxembourg and were also able to get to know some of the EU institutions located here. General Assembly 2024 with board elections

General Assembly of the Europa-Union Luxembourg a.s.b.l. Pavillon am Brill in Mamer. We now have 95 members and have grown by almost 25% in just one year. We will introduce the new board in the coming days and congratulate all elected members. Our Chairman Stefan Kohler presented the numerous events of the past year in addition to solid figures and was unanimously confirmed in his office for the next two years. Trip to Budapest

The Europa-Union Luxembourg organised a political excursion to Budapest from 20 May to 24 May 2024. Several members accepted the invitation. We would like to thank Ambassador Dr Heinrich Kreft (currently a lecturer at Andrassy University Budapest and previously Ambassador at the German Embassy in Luxembourg) and Eszter Nagy from UEF Hungary for the invitation and support in planning this trip. On 14 March, the "Kick-off to the European elections and review of the past legislative period (part 2)" took place, at which MEPs Martine Kemp and Isabel Wiseler-Lima from the EUL parliamentary group spoke.
